BIO

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. I am advised by Professor Alexandra To. My research spans the intersection of HCI, Value-sensitive design, and Human-centered Artificial Intelligence (HCAI). Currently, I am focusing on contributing to AI/ML literacy and value-sensitive algorithm design for low-income individuals in the USA. I am deeply passionate about making AI/ML knowledge more consumable for everyone. My work has been published in premier HCI venues including ACM CHI, ACM CSCW, and ACM DIS. Previously, I worked as a lecturer in the CSE department, at BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I completed my B.Sc. and M.S. in CSE from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I also received a second M.S. degree in CS from Oregon State University. I love doing service work; for example, sometimes on the weekends, I am probably doing service work (e.g., reviewing, attending talks, admission committees). I have reviewed over 80 conference and journal papers in premier HCI venues. In my free time, I like taking nature photographs.
